Meanwhile, at Casa Giese...

Just call me Flipper, because I'm really happy these days hangin' in the pool.  Daddy taught me how to hold my breath under water - my record so far is eleven seconds!
I'm still learning the whole  blow-through-your-nose-while-jumping -in thing, though...In other news...Brazilian Carnival is almost here.  I like to wear my costume mask (and not much else!) just like the Samba dancers. Shaka-Shaka-Boom-Boom!!

Belly Love

There's a lot of talk about bellies goin' on at Casa Giese these days...

We all know who's belly is biggest, but it's not polite to name names...

Daddy says he knows, but he's sworn to secrecy...

All I know is, it's the Belly that gets the most kisses!

Lately...

Daddy has been traveling for work, so Mommy and I have had a lot of "quality time" together. Since I'm out of school (it's Brazilian summer vacation time), I've had plenty of time to play with new toys, as well as rediscover some old ones.

Mommy's done her best to try to capture some of those everyday moments, but more often than not, I just want the camera to go away.

Every once in awhile, though, I'll "throw her a bone."

Christmas with a Cousin

I'm so glad I was able to spend some time over the holiday with my "West Texas Giese" cousin, Isabela! We laughed and played, and opened presents together - just being the Sillies that we are!

At some moments, we were all grins for the camera...

Other times, we put on our best pout!

Isabela received crayons and color books, and Uncle Monroe convinced her to share with me.
