Yesterday, Mommy and I found a hummingbird in our kitchen! She must have flown in when we had the laundry room open...
She was very scared, and quickly became so tired that she had to rest on the windowsill. So, Mommy very gently scooped the little bird into her hands, and tried to get her to drink some sugar water, but she fluttered her fast wings and went back up to the light.
I helped by saying "Come 'ere birdie!"

Finally, we were able to reach her. We took her outside to her favorite little tree, and she started to drink from the tiny flowers while Mommy held her. Then, she fluttered, and drank until she had enough strength to go back to her family.
I'm so happy I was able to save the little hummingbird, and hope to see her again soon near the pretty red flowers!
